Description & Services

Information The Wentworth Learning Centre provides inter-generational educational opportunities and houses a daily childcare centre, library and community access program site, massage therapy, advanced footcare and more. The centre is governed by an incorporated, not-for-profit co-operative founded by members of the Wentworth community. Nine volunteer directors and 95 members are responsible for co-operative operations. Current efforts focus on raising funds for staffing and maintenance of the learning centre.

Eligibility *Please Note: many regular activities are currently on hiatus due to COVID-19. Please call or email to confirm any changes.* 
 
-Features daycare Mon-Fri 7am to 5pm (ages 18 months to school age). 
 
-There is a green space and an outdoor playground onsite, including a wheelchair accessible play area with autism/sensory friendly features. 
 
-Facility rooms can be rented out for daily rates (includes gym, meeting rooms, etc). 
 
-Includes community library & computer/internet access site. 
 
-Senior/diabetic footcare nurse on-site. 
 
-Home of Tatamagouche Yarn Company. 
 
-Girl Guides, Alcoholics Anonymous, Historical Society, Karate and more!
