Description & Services

Information This walking trail is a linear 3 km return, with a crushed gravel surface and wooden bridges and a look-out gazebo at the end. It has an "easy" rating. Dogs are permitted on leash; please pick up after your pet. The trail is checked frequently from May 15-Oct 15; it is checked infrequently during our off-season and there is no snow clearance. 
 
Park admission fees apply for use of the trail. Check website for details. 
 
Directions: 
The trail site is located off Highway 2, just north of Shubenacadie. Turn onto Creighton Road and follow signs to the picnic area of the Wildlife Park. The trailhead is at the top of the hill.

Hours May 15 - October 15: 9:00 am - 6:30 pm 
October 16 - May 14: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm weekends only
Accessibility Mostly accessible but some strollers and wheelchairs may have difficulties on the steeper inclines.
