| Information | Tim Hortons Children's Camp offers children ages 9 to 12 with economic disadvantages the chance to experience many exciting programs in their summer and winter camps. The Foundation covers all costs for each child attending, including transportation, equipment for camp programs, and food and lodging. During the summer, kids stay for a 10-day camp session. Some experiences campers have are high and low rope adventure courses, archery, canoeing, creative arts, and of course, making friends with fellow campers! The winter months offer a week-long, all expenses paid March Break Camp, where campers experience dog sledding, skating, snow tubing and much more. Outdoor facilities and features at the camp include an outdoor adventure course, beach volleyball court, nature trails for hiking, orienteering or mountain biking, large fish pond, baseball diamond, a large field for land games, two overnight sites with ponds, campfire pits, and tent areas, and a marine centre. Indoor facilities include a recreation centre for indoor sports and talent shows, an arts and crafts centre, and Atlantic Canada House (Dining Hall). |
