Volunteer Opportunity Our Board looks for people from our shore to join the board to help with application for summer students; assist in fundraising efforts; conduct workshops; volunteer at the centre or at fundraising events; assist in searching out funding sources; mentoring and supervision of employees, etc.
Description & Services
Information The Cliffs of Fundy Geopark Welcome Centre provides pictures, videos and interpretive panels as well as trained interpreters, to explain the geology, history and culture of the shore. Information on the Aspiring Global Geopark is readily available. On site is the only original World War II Observation Tower in the Maritimes, which offers a spectacular view of the tides and countryside. There is also a large picnic and recreation area. Bike racks are provided for your convenience.  
 
The Centre can also provide hiking trail information in Colchester County highlighting the river, gorges, and waterfalls in the Economy River Wilderness Area; Mi'kmawey Debert; Thomas’ Cove Coastal Reserve trails and Partridge Island, Ward's Falls, Cape D'Or and Cape Chignecto trails.
